Germany has turned its Holocaust‑derived “Staatsräson” into unconditional support for Israel that amounts to active and continuing complicity in crimes against Palestinians: historically by secretly funding Israel’s Dimona nuclear project through the covert “Aktion Geschäftsfreund” loans (1961–73) and other clandestine military/industrial assistance, and contemporaneously by supplying arms (drones, increased exports, submarines), political protection (public declarations, blocking accountability), and domestic repression of pro‑Palestinian voices - together creating a pattern of material enabling, rhetorical shielding and suppression of dissent that makes Germany morally and politically (and on their reading legally) complicit in Israel’s actions in #Gaza.
