#GiveDirectly is once again pushing the envelope in unconditional basic income (#UBI) research: despite the dozens of pilot projects now in place in the U.S., they are too similar to each other to obtain data on which program design is more effective (regarding project duration, payment frequency, payment amount, etc.). GD's research (https://www.givedirectly.org/how-cash-works-best/) could determine implementation designs that would allow these programs to become even more impactful!
