I often hear that our economy is based on consumerism and that #UBI will make it a lot worse.
I disagree with that statement based on my own experience and everyone else who I see around me.
Yes, during my younger years, it was nice to get a new pair of jeans or shoes or something. Then, as I grew up, these things become less important. I still like nice things but I no longer feel the need to "own them all".
