It's lovely to see people's reviews of 2025 and resolutions for 2026.

Mine is really very simple: forget 2025 and survive 2026.

It's no secret that work in ELT is hard to come by, especially for editing and writing, and the past couple of years have been a struggle. I'm determined to survive 2026 by securing more work than I did in the past couple of years, mainly for different types of editing, including proofreading.

However, I'm also determined to make a difference in the charity and not-for-profit sector by using my skills to help share essential information, stories and life-saving words. I'm particularly interested in LGBTQIA+ advocacy, sustainability, human rights, health (especially Barrett's and sleep apnea) and the environment.
