I spend a lot of time listening to the very simple hold music on the phone system at work.

I don't know if this means I'm neurodivergent or suffering from some other kind of mental divergence from the norm but I somehow HAVE to do it…

…I'm using Garageband to create a beautiful orchestral version of it—sweeping strings; noble trumpets; gentle French horns—and some subtle additional chord voicings fleshing out its simple four-chord structure. I feel like I OWN it now instead of it being forced on me.

Noodles

The electric guitar was noodled upon today. I worked out two new song ideas on my laptop and decided that even though I was grossly rusty and have no calluses at all on my finger tips, I put rhythm guitar tracks onto both songs. Four tracks on one song and two on the other.

My playing was absolute garbage but I enjoyed every second of it. Well… not counting the burning agony in the tips of the fingers on my left hand. That’s a kick in the nards, but other than that… Fun.

Discovered this free DAW plugin manager. I've been looking for something like this for a while. I am pleased to say it works really well and clawed back 26GB of space on my internal drive!
It doesn't delete the plugin, but offloads them to another location that you specify (if you like) I moved mine to an external drive. Plugoff stores with them the original location, so you can reverse the process on an individual plugin basis, or in bulk.
