I’ve got an old #LogicPro project that I wanna make a minor modification to. I’ve archived it off on a raid on another computer on my network and I decided just to edit in situ.

The edit was trivial and performance wasnt too bad. However, the export of the final file is absolutely, mind-numbingly slow.

It’s at least 10 minutes now and it’s only about 3/4 of the way done. It’s an MP3 file that’s approximately 60 minutes long.

Today was an excellent day of applied nerdery. Got to play with #logicpro and #mainstage this morning in preparation for an upcoming show. Making some very #funky #bass sounds doing a night of J Dilla-inspired #jazz. Later this afternoon, I threw my 10m dipole antenna for some #hamradio, banged out some quick #FT8 contacts, and landed a #qrp contact with K5BNF, Bob from Harper TX. Also squeezed in a #5k for good measure. #amateurradio #running #runnersofmastodon

How’s everyone getting on with #macOS 26 with #LogicPro and their plugins? I mainly use #NeuralDSP guitar plugins, #ToonTrack drums and a couple of randoms from UA.

(I also use Cortex Control).

Currently still on Sequoia 15.7.2.
