I'm fairly fluent in Windows (used it since the ME #Mistake/Millennium Edition) in 2000.
I play piano/keyboard as a hobby,
so #Reaper and #SurgeXT get high marks from me.
There is a #Reaper extension called #OSara that uses #NVDA to announce what's happening in #Reaper since I can't Physically See the Interface on the screen.

I love playing #BedroomProducer, starting to get the hang of #Reaper which is a great app & it's really good playing practice & fun, too - but I think I might have to start thinking about learning how to, you know, finish a project sometime soon 🤔 I just keep adding & rearranging tracks & recordings while ignoring things like beginnings, middles & endings... 😂

I can still do almost everything just fine with my Late 2013 27" iMac, thanks to the (at the time) top-of-the-line model, and OpenCore Legacy Patcher, which allows me to use almost-current macOS versions with all security updates.

Even #Reaper with tons of plugins and DaVinci Resolve still work great.

Two points will make me upgrade in the near future, though:
* X-Plane 12 won't run, because it needs a more recent Metal version, which the hardware doesn't support, and
* #NeatVideo denoising takes ages, but it does such a marvellous job for low-light footage from my almost-as-old DSLR.
