Posting this here mostly for myself but maybe others have been looking for it too? Next time I’m confused how I get #midi tracks to sync with the project BPM in #Reaper when changing the song tempo, it’s here:

Item > Source Properties > Ignore project tempo

Uncheck it for all the MIDI regions.

Whew, not very obvious imho. There apparently isn't a global setting for this… Or is there?

Use case: I record drum tracks, and speed up the takes later. Gotta do it this way bc I'm a lousy drummer. ;)

I just recently adopted a #tracker into my #musicproduction workflow.

Basically, chop up breakbeats in #Redux / #Renoise and then plug them into #Reaper

I feel like I opened Pandora's box 😅

I guess this is a case of "use the right tool for the right problem" or "some ideas are better expressed in other languages"

This keyboard focused approach feels like #Vim but for breakbeats.
