Thursday #DailyTracks : Did #Presonus #StudioOne jus bite the dust ? Not really. #Fender has owned the shop for several years. They just put on a fresh coat O’ paint, added some new widgets and liberally sprinkled with Fender dust . I bailed when Studio One went to a subscription model several years prior. Thanks but no. Truth be told if a DAW does what you need it to do most of these shenanigans won’t change that. Just freeze your copy and backup version in case they screw with the licensing

Wo ich gerade über meine #usbigtech Migration denke, stolpere ich über meine Studio One Lizenz. #StudioOne gehört jetzt zu #Fender - eine US-Company.

Ist jede US-Company böse? We don't know yet. Es steht zu befürchten, dass die allermeisten Companies unter einer Präsidentenanordnung einknicken würden, eine Lizenz zu wiederrufen oder einen Service abzuschalten.

Aber - wir wissen es noch nicht. Der Impact auf meinen Alltag wäre sehr überschaubar. Nicht Prio 1. Nur Bedenkenswert.
