made a Disperser "clone" in #FLStudio Patcher, using kilohearts nonlinear filter! it's the attached files, which are Patcher presets. the first is a mini version with 6 iterations and the second is the full version with 30 iterations (check this post in the original instance if you can't see them). this requires you install kilohearts essentials #AudioPlugins #sounddesign #musicproduction

it uses a lot of CPU bc there's several instances of khs nonlinear filter being ran. so there's no reason to use this in a serious/big project buuuut it does have some things that disperser doesn't have (because nonlinear filter has them) so it might actually be useful for sound design :3

if you want an actual phase dispersion plugin that *doesn't* use a ton of CPU AND also has more features than disperser, you should get allpassphase. my lil patcher things were just made for fun. they do have more features than allpassphase but again they're too cpu heavy. and also you can't change iteration amount (you'd have to add more nonlinear filter instances). different use cases ig
