I tried once to have 3 things going at the same time and I couldn’t cope 😅
I’ll accept one knitting and one crochet project at the same time. Anything else is too much for me to handle.

Er wordt veel geklaagd over social media, maar het levert ook goede dingen op. Zo was er afgelopen september op Mastodon de #FinishOrFrogAlong. Onder deze hashtag gingen alle deelnemende breiers en hakers (en wie er verder nog meer met handwerkproducten bezig waren) aan de slag om alle (lang)lopende projecten te evalueren en ofwel uit te halen, ofwel af te maken. Hoewel het allemaal heel ontspannen en zonder druk was - wie mee wilde doen, deed mee, en lukte het…
Leonieke@consumablejoy Good idea to set some goals. While I have a (temporarily) misbehaving shoulder, I cannot pick up large projects. For now in 2026 I'm continuing a cross stitch project, but I have also tentatlvely started to learn to knit.
I'm unsure if I'm able to do much sewing on my machine, so no big quilts for now (even though I have reams of gorgeous fabric!), but I'm hoping to continue basting hexagons with Liberty for any possible future projects.
I'm trying to keep my fabric projects small, so that I don't run away with an idea or plan that I physically currently cannot finish.
I am looking forward to #FinishOrFrogAlong again this year!

Make hexiflats for my beekeepers quilt (target: 24 or more). Make progress on one or more of my long-term WIPs (notice I’m not even saying “finish” lol). Host #FinishOrFrogAlong again if there is interest. End the year with fewer knitting WIPs than I’m starting, even if it’s because I kill projects
I’m optimistic to make this year the year of spinning so maybe these knitting goals will fall away. We’ll see! (2/2)
