This is what support looks like, Sannas partner was the main support throughout the night on the first attempt and her father supported throughout the night on the second attempt.

There are also three friends in the background who were running plenty of support miles with her.

Work continues of the final 2 documentaries for this year, Team Wales and their four nations BYU and the film featuring Sanna Duthie as she took on the 186mile FKT attempt of Pembrokeshire Coast Path over 2 attempts and as she fundraised for @pembrokeshirecoasttrust

I’ve spent over a decade documenting incredible feats of endurance, from ocean swims stretching for miles to mountain ultras spanning hundreds and it's moments like these that inspire me to dig deeper and do the best job I can when documenting such moments.

Last weekend, during Sanna Duthie’s 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path record attempt, I caught this moment between her and her dad at a checkpoint at around 2am, 14 hours in to the attempt.

It’s the kind of scene that shows exactly how athletes like Sanna make the impossible possible.

Behind every runner pushing their limits is a circle of people who truly believe in their dream.

The ones who give their time freely, who show up at every adventure without question.

No glory, no money, nothing to gain other than a close friend or family member achieving their dreams, just pure, selfless support.

Steve, Sanna’s father, slept only a few minutes over the entire 48 hours, determined to do everything he could to help her finish ahead of schedule.

Alongside him were Andrew, her partner, and a small crew of close friends, running sections with her, carrying supplies through remote night stretches, and quietly doing whatever it took to keep her moving.

You'll see this scene in the documentary featuring both of Sanna's attempts later in the year.

Today Sanna made history, she put it all out there and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path has a new record.

186 miles in 48 hours and 23 minutes.

Inspired by Sanna, her family and friends all supporting her, we left it all out there to make sure we could capture as much of her feat of endurance and the Pembrokeshire Coast as we could.

Both of Sannas attempts this year were documented by us and now the work begins on a full-length ultra-marathon documentary of Sanna and this record which will be released later in the year.

A big thanks to Sanna and all those around her for letting us capture such an intimate time on the trails.

Sanna Duthie @sannad22run will be attempting to break her own record of 2d 3h and 30mins on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path at the end of April.

Covering 186 miles (300km) and running along the South West coat of Wales on the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and we will have the honour of documenting her journey to release a full-length doc later in the year.

We met up for a trail run on the coast path to get a few pics, learn more about her attempt and we're excited to be a small part of her adventure later next month!

She is raising awareness and funds for the @pembrokeshirecoasttrust who are a conservation charity based here in the National Park.

Story: accidental #FKT #FastestKnownTime

I wanted to try a lateral traverse of the Sierra. I didn’t want to figure out a ride, so I went out and back (double traverse), and picked the shortest route (Onion to Roads End).

Afterwards, I saw there was no FKT for the out and back, so I submitted mine. Someone coincidentally submitted a faster time right when I did but they received and processed mine first. So I’m on the ledger and held the FKT for about 5 minutes 🤣
