@cbcottawa_mirror I feel very sorry for the losses that #farmers in #ontario have faced during the cold season.
However,when as we always have transitions in #seasons this is a blessing ,hopefully that the current #spring season will help you recover what you lost.
In Uganda,we do not experience seasons like yours!
That is why we should grow what is enough to #endhunger everywhere.

Teaching #agriculture in schools should go beyond theory. Students should do #farming themselves. When young people grow #plants and care for #animals they learn responsibility, patience, and problem-solving. Practical agriculture empowers students with real-life skills, promotes self-reliance, and prepares them for future careers. Schools should not just talk about #foodproduction — they should actively produce #food

Yesterday,we were able to prepare the #gardening space with young people looking forward to #endhunger through #agriculture.
The new learners welcomed #foodproduction lessons and ideas of #sustainability .
We finished this work,and hoping to make #vegetable nursery beds on #sunday .
For the time we spent together ,they got to know that they can lead to positive changes wherever they are especially against hunger and saving the planet.
