Due to the existing droughg in our community,our maize garden was lucky for being planted at first.
By the time of hot sunshine,the crops were ready to recieve the sunshine which would make it dry.
Today,we had to cut all the maize plants down for easy harvesting.
We will donate some kilograms to vulnerable families after the harvests.

We are working to mulch our young plants such that moisture can be preserved in the soil during this disastrous time in our region.
People's young plants are just drying out due to high temperatures and high solar insolation which may lead to future hunger problems .
We need to prepare ourselves for bad situations before they come.
Though there is drought that is affecting us and some people not able to grow,this does not mean that no food throughout!
