@jaded_jouska It would be very easy to mistype #Adopteedon as #AdopteesOn. Although, I'm not sure it would cause all that much confusion.
I was especially struck by her description of parenting as an #adoptee - “I was parenting blind for the first 16 years of my child’s life. Because adoption is trauma … I’m parenting with a wounded inner child, not even knowing how wounded I was, or what the wound was. So I’m parenting almost out of paranoia.” Yes ! This !
