So I took a look at the new Steam Machine's specs, and well... hopefully it's going to be really cheap. They are saying you'll be able to play 4k/60 with FSR. And yet it seems between Xbox Series S and PS5 level performance. Also, they went with an RDNA 3 chip, and yet FSR 4 doesn't yet officially support it.

I see this as probably good enough for today, but it's going to be outdated in 2-3 years. This is clearly a gen 9 machine, and will be left in the dust by PS6 and Xbox Magnus

Valve has just announced their new VR headset, the Steam Frame. This time around it's a stand alone unit. No need for lighthouses, and it can play games internally. And just like SteamDeck it runs SteamOS, despite having an Arm CPU. It also has the ability to connect to your PC or the also announced Steam Machine wirelessly!

Along with it comes revised controllers and eye tracking
