Want to see and example of someone who
- turned pain into #purpose,
- embodied both #vulnerability and #resilience,
- touched the lives of millions of women and Europeans?

Look at #SimoneVeil.

An incredible life story from #Auschwitz to so many achievements for the benefit of people of France and the #EuropeanUnion... Especially #women and #LGBT+...

"Simone, le voyage du siècle" is a great movie that tells her story.

Strongly recommended.

I think we have long lost some basic #etiquette in our modern society, especially when it comes to our behavior in #publictransport.

In the past 5+ years, when traveling by #train, I increasing see people:
- playing music or videos on speakers
- eating smelly food (e.g., with onions)
- talking too loudly on the phone or with each other
- ...

I'm told that people can do whatever they want. Of course, they can! But why would you disturb others so carelessly? Is this a #millenial thing?

Hi #astrodon
I'm not one of you guys but I've a question for you:
I live in Leuven, #Belgium and this morning, at 07.35 local time, I saw this bright line in the sky (in the middle of the photo). It just stays there, doesn't move (so not like the tail of an airplane).
What is this thing? Could you enlighten me please?
#COP27 #GIEC

A study by Amazon finds that 74% of Millennial and Gen Z workers are planning to quit their jobs in 2023 due to a lack of skills-building opportunities
🟠 58% are worried their skills are already outdated

"Burnout is more than being exhausted. We already have a perfectly good word for that – ‘exhausted!’ – so we really don’t need burnout to mean this too – especially when we establish that it is more than just #exhaustion."

Thank you, #ChristinaMaslach for raising awareness and reminding us that #burnout is a professional phenomenon.

Let's go back to the basics and quit confusing ourselves and each other. Let's focus our efforts onto tackling job burnout 💪

Burnout is not just overworking

It’s official. A scary tipping point has now been reached – one that says more Americans are ‘burned-out’ than not – a staggering 52% of them according to a recent study by Indeed. What makes this finding so daunting for HRDs is the fact that burnout seems to be an ‘always-present’ sensation rather than a one off. And, it doesn’t seem to be restricted to a particular group of people either. Gallup’s own look into this phenomenon reveals 28% of American workers today describe themselves as ‘very often’ or ‘always burned out’ (up from 23% in 2016). Meanwhile, the same
