✷ Use hashtags liberally to connect beyond your immediate bubble
✷ Metatext is a great Mastodon mobile app
✷ Use Content warnings (CW) liberally - think of them as subject lines
✷ Mute/block vigorously (no different to the birdsite)
✷ Be respectful
✷ Enjoy the calm 😌
Question on #teaching for #academicmastodon 👩🏫 I have a great but relatively large seminar on #democracy this semester and find myself uncertain of how to make it an enjoyable learning experience for everyone (different levels of activity, interests etc.)
Any ideas for managing this well or taking students' temperatures on it? 💡
