Side AND back pockets. Man, it's so great. I received it yesterday and it's safe to say I fell head over heels in love with it. I need more of these. This thing is awesome 🤩

I've been quiet here for a bit. The Giro d’Italia has been a welcome distraction from all the previously shared misery.
Mentally I'm doing okay, physically I'm pretty tired after an intense week of courier shifts. Two more shifts to go this week and Friday I will hop on a train (two actually) to Italy for a recharge of the soul solo cycling trip. I desperately need it.

Can't believe this worked, but I made Bennie look like this today, to make me feel better. It helped.
I also had a good courier shift. Easy on the amount of deliveries and sunny weather. Worth a smile on the way back home.
I feel slightly better now. Tomorrow a check up at the vet for Ben, so 🤞🏻 everything looks okay. That would also help ease my mind for a bit.

Being real is also sharing bad moments. Here's what I look like this morning after I've definitely been living "deep in the red"(to use some cycling terms) for too long and too much.
Trying so hard to communicate well to my spouse, express my limits, but she can be so tone-deaf sometimes. She's trying her best too, but when it comes to mental health issues, she really has no clue. She has trouble understanding her own true needs, let alone she understands mine.
We're a week into Bennie's recovery and he thinks he's all better and is really done with his house arrest. And inside the house he's not even allowed to jump on things or play tag on the stairs. He's really getting fed up with it.
Tbh, he shouldn't complain. We were supposed to put him on bench rest and keep him away from his (adoptive) sister for two weeks. Yeah, no. We totally understand the advice, but this little dude is 11 months old and is a lot like my previous cat. 1/2
We had quite a week. A few weeks ago our little furry friend Bennie got hit by a car. After a check up at the vet he seemed relatively okay. This week his condition suddenly worsened. I took the 2nd picture because something was really off with the shape of his body. The pic doesn't do justice to how significant it was. 1/
Online marketplace bargain, I now have a trailer 🤩
Best thing about it might be that it connects to my Tailfin thru axle, so I can switch between systems ridiculously easy.

Had a pretty good courier shift today. It helped. I feel slightly better than this morning. Sunny weather and the occasional green surroundings soothed my soul.
Now diving into my snuggie and hitting the couch.
