Staying on the topic of bike trailers. Is there a good overview of different types of hitches for bike trailers?
With me drawing up a trailer, now the kids want one for their small bikes. And while building a small trailer probably isn’t that difficult, the bikes tend to fall over quite a lot, so I’d want a hitch that can deal with that.
Any recommendations? Or just an overview of the possible options?
We've been clearing our garage, which still had old carpet on the floor and cabinets left by the previous owners. Today, @jhembrow and I took some of this stuff to the dump, a 10 km round trip by bike. We managed to carry 140 kg of stuff between us in our trailers, which is nearly half our 300 kg yearly allowance for free of charge dumping.
A few days ago I took another 50 kg. So we don't actually have much of the allowance left.

I finally got around to assembling my #BikesAtWork trailer to help with a New Years Day #BikeMove.
It can be set up in short, long and extra-long modes. Here it is in short-mode, a perfect fit for some storage tubs I already had. In extra-long mode it is fully qualified for the #CarryShitOlympics.
