Lots of rapeseed flowering in the fields, making for bright colours & a sweet smell out to Ladenburg.

Also spotted some new insects in the meadow at the Fischkinderstube pond – see the next couple of toots.

Waited until it clouded over a bit for today’s 61km ride – I’m a red-headed Celt & not well equipped to fight the Sun 🌞😱

That meant a little drizzle, but 🤷‍♂️

Plenty of storks out in the fields today. Rather sadly, I also saw a group of them scavenging in a big recycling centre, although quite what they were finding, I don’t know – mice, perhaps?
