I learned way to late to not worry about the small stuff in design.
Usually people will be with you on the big stuff but they might want to change something small like the wording or the size of a button. Let them, even if they are wrong
They get a sense of control and everyone’s happy

A while ago I read an article by @pjonori that talked about how craftsmen make jigs for themselves.
It inspired me to start sharing some them and I wrote up a quick blog post about my approach

I'd like to have a discussion, to sharpen my thoughts on the news that Meta will be allowed to train its LLM on public user data in EU:

Q1. If you wish to opt out, what are your reasons? Be explicit. Assume I don't know anything about it.
A hypothetical question:
Q2. Would your objection still hold if it wasn't Meta, but a benevolent non-profit that would make the resulting LLM open-source and available to all?
