For years, I was fascinated by The #Urantia Book. I read it constantly, and with no other belief system, I really understood, I believed it.
I’ve returned to #ACIM. AI has helped immensely, and I now see that humans need belief systems. Not because they are ultimately true, but because they can help us relax, grow, and move forward.
I no longer see reality in #TUB. It was a pleasant story that helped me grow. Just as I don’t believe the #fairytales of #childhood, I’m no longer fooled by TUB.
AI & CONSCIOUSNESS?
AI may become more intelligent, more embodied, more useful, more convincing, and maybe one day more #ethically ambiguous.
But human-style #consciousness? Not yet. And perhaps never in the same way.
A #mirror can become astonishingly clear. That does not mean it has a face of its own.

GPT, why are we (humans) so frightened of you?
Who knew the #body could design its own life? The #mind imagines the body as a #problem. Feed it, distract it, #sedate it, #stimulate it, obey every itch & craving.
The body's not stupid. It has its own #intelligence. Given enough calm, it begins to choose clarity. Early food. water. #breathwork Walking. Sleep. Rhythm.
The body discovers what feels clean. It gets promised pleasure and is handed agitation. But once it has tasted reality, it knows the difference.
A #miracle in plain clothes.

A lot of things marketed as pleasure are really just agitation with flash packaging.
Sugar, outrage, scrolling, gossip, novelty, compulsive buying, the whole glittering little circus.
Perfume on things that were never designed to make the body peaceful.
