I felt that Microsoft Copilot, formerly known as Office, could use a mascot. So I asked Copilot to design something in the spirit of Clippy.
Let me introduce you to Sloppy, a cheerful slightly gooey assistant with glasses and a headset.

@Dany
Pretty sure that's the guy from the Windows vs Mac adverts
(edit)
@SnowyCA @BaronWalschap If office is not to be rebranded as Copilot, then they shouldn't write that on their website. I cannot read "The Microsoft 365 Copilot app (formerly Office)" in any other way.
Wording and phrasing is important, and if they are indeed not intending to blanket rename Office to Copilot they should have written better text. They supposedly have this big expensive superior language model to help them with that. So that is an extra failure they are responsible for.
AI isn't all it is promised to be, that's for sure.
@BaronWalschap
Even people who hadn't previously heard the term slop have now heard the term slop.
@Dany
can you copyright that image?
(Jaw, I hope not!)
@Dany I am afraid Microslop marketing division was ahead of time, and has already produced an appropriately slimey and sloppy blob of [redacted].
Meet Mico - the official Copilot mascot from few months back:

The perfect icon to represent something made by masturbatory, self-congratulating tech bros.
