The thing I forgot about coffeeshops is the number of first-date meetups that go on around you.
Solo patrons should be given score cards to hold up and rank their repartée.
What's a good app for finding bike routes specifically around Metro Vancouver?
e.g. Apple Maps gave garbage directions from New West to PoCo. Google Maps did a decent job.
However, Google maps gave terrible directions around Mount Pleasant area. (told me to go along 12th instead of 10th for some dumb reason)
I only really use Google Maps when I have to, but it’s also time to switch away from Apple maps.
The main need is bike-friendly mapping system.
A tree in my front yard is starting to bud. What’s budding is a weird cross between a Brussels sprout and a cauliflower. That’s an exaggeration but I can’t think of another to describe it. Very strange!
We popped into an open house on the way home.
Realtor 1: any feedback?
Us: I have allergies and we can smell pets and a strong chemical cleaning smell throughout the house
Realtors: we don't smell anything and no-one else mentioned it
Realtor 1: thanks I welcome negative feedback
Realtor 2: we don't own the house
(No shit Sherlock, but wtf?)
As we were leaving, my nife said they were talking about us, and rolling their eyes.
Don't like feedback? Don't ask.
