Help request. My brother has Stage 4 colorectal cancer.
His life insurance has refused to pay out on a technicality, meaning he and his loved ones cannot afford the mortgage on their home.

@tychotithonus @GossiTheDog Yes. Often in the US, the insurance companies deny first and capitulate when you fight or report them for their bad behavior. Bad press can be effective as well.

Do they accept donations only from the UK, or do they just assume that anyone from Bulgaria must be a crook? I tried first with a debit card, then with a credit card, and after fighting CAPTCHAs for half an hour I always ended with an error message ("there was an error with your request" or something like that).

I noticed a couple of replies mentioning struggling to get past the captcha - I ran into that too and it seems to be limited to mobile browsers. I've raised it with GoFundMe support, they're looking into it. so if you get folks saying "I want to donate but can't", desktop browser is the way to point them.
