#BostonWeekend 1/x
Friday - 1pm and 8pm, free - Holden Chapel @ #Harvard #CambridgeMA - infra-sonic, sub-woofer, modular #synth concert with Sound Lab Artist-in-Residence Retribution Body and guest performer #AshaTamirisa
This looks super cool if you’re into synthy music or putting unexpected sounds in beautiful/historic spaces - the 1pm show is tuning all the gear to the resonance of the Chapel, and the 8pm thing is the show.

Their work as Retribution Body uses custom subwoofers and modular synthesizers to auralize the architecture of performance spaces though dense fields of standing waves, crafting work that is simultaneously minimalist and overwhelming.

We’ve done two of these since opening, and both have been a huge hit! Groups that met here have gone on to form long-running campaigns that ACTUALLY MEET UP TO PLAY REGULARLY (😱), so not to toot our own horn or anything, but we’re basically gods. How it works: snag a ticket at the link in our bio; get a drink from Nook or Rebel Rebel on your way to the shop; fill out a name tag with the games you want to play, the nights you’re free, and whether you’re willing to run the game; then chat to some like-minded folks and get planning! It’s gonna be gross out on Saturday, so come hang with us and do something fun in our cozy little wizard’s tower. See y’all there! • • • @bow.market #lfgs #dndevents #dnd #ttrpgs".
