...A sprawling, grandiose mélange of space rock, Golden Vessyl finds the Portland, OR, band using guitars, horns, synthesizers, drums, and loops to forge an epic that crosses My Bloody Valentine and Godspeed You Black Emperor! From the spare, non-Western "Song Two" to the gurgling fractals of "Song Four," Golden Vessyl is hardly mellow, ambient music. It is a difficult album that demands the listener's attention and, though it could benefit form the intricate structure of a band like Boards of Canada, Golden Vessyl is quite rewarding.

No Clear Mind is a Greek experimental art-rock band formed in 2006, blending elements of post-rock, shoegaze and progressive pop into a distinctive cinematic sound. Originating from the Greek underground scene, the band first emerged on the live scene in 2008, performing in Athens and supporting renowned German electronic composer Ulrich Schnauss.
Their music quickly gained international attention, with British band The xx highlighting them on their blog and praising their early work.
No Clear Mind have released some Ep’s and singles along with three studio albums “Dream is Destiny”, “Mets”and “Makena”, establishing a unique sonic identity that merges atmospheric guitars, electronic textures and emotionally driven songwriting.
Their sound that moves between dreamy shoegaze landscapes and avant-garde pop structures, the band has built a devoted worldwide following among listeners of progressive post-rock and experimental pop.
No Clear Mind continue to explore the boundaries between rock, ambient and cinematic sound design, crafting what they describe as a hybrid avant-garde dream pop experience.

KANIPCHEN-FIT GOT A NEW RELEASE “Survival Moves”! (EmGlo Records) which is this duo still musically shifting from aggressive pieces to melancholic songs and lots of funky grooves and moves in between.
Fronted by performance artist, vocalist, poet Gloria formerly of the legendary, all-female group of performance-based New York poets called the Pussy Poets and Empee Holwerda from the Dutch bands punk-wave Lul, through new-wavy post-postrock of Solbakken, to his current bluesy rock-grooves on guitar, beats & sounds, and vocals. Some even went as far as to call it funky protest music for the twenty-first century. Their songs are simple and straightforward, double vocals, a rough and loud guitar, with unexpected rhythmic and harmonic changes, with spoken word, avoiding rock-clichés.
They’ve played in the US, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia. They’ve also opened for Thurston Moore (US), Blurt (UK), Wire (UK), and The Ex (NL).

Met hun debuutalbum Birding hebben het Londense dreampoptrio deary hun sound bewust verder ontwikkeld, waarbij ze kozen voor scherpere teksten en zwaardere instrumentatie dan op hun eerdere releases. Ze kozen de titel om de aandacht te vestigen op de directe impact die mensen hebben op de wereld om ons heen, of dat nu de natuur is, of onszelf. Ondanks een deel van de zware thematiek is het album bedoeld om de luisteraar een moment te geven om te pauzeren, te reflecteren, te herkalibreren en zichzelf te herinneren aan al het goede, geluk en de liefde die in het dagelijkse leven gemakkelijk vergeten kunnen worden. Het belang van het beschermen van het innerlijke kind of iemand die kwetsbaarder is, handen vasthouden, leren van fouten uit het verleden. Verspreid over 11 tracks die het volledige spectrum bestrijken van oceaandiepe shoegaze-riffs tot wolklichte strooisels van etherische indie, is Birding het geluid van een band die definitief hun groove heeft gevonden.
Resplandor
Resplandor is een in Nederland gevestigde shoegazeband waarvan het geluid etherische, weelderige gitaren en hemelse, zwevende zang combineert met elementen van postpunk en postrock. Hun recente albums Tristeza en Pleamar werden geproduceerd door Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) en gemasterd door Simon Scott (Slowdive). De band heeft een reputatie opgebouwd voor meeslepende liveoptredens en een sterke internationale aanwezigheid, en deelde het podium met acts als The Cure, Slowdive en The Jesus and Mary Chain. Resplandor bracht Tristeza ten gehore als voorprogramma van The Cure’s Shows of a Lost World-tour in Zuid-Amerika, en toerde door de jaren heen uitgebreid door Europa, Zuid-Amerika en Noord-Amerika. Een jaar geleden begon Resplandor hun Europese Tristeza Tour met uitverkochte shows in Amsterdam, Parijs en Berlijn, gevolgd door optredens door heel Europa en een opvallend optreden op Wave-Gotik-Treffen, waarna het jaar werd afgesloten in Malmö en Kopenhagen.
