Join the Allston Brighton Health Collaborative, City of Boston, and Bluebikes (Lyft) for a 3.5-mile Bluebikes-only community bike ride on Sunday, April 13 at 11:00am. The route and pace are beginner friendly, particularly for folks new to biking and/or new to Bluebike-ing. We'll spend a good amount of time in the beginning going over how to use the Bluebikes and get you comfortable using them in safe environment before venturing out to the neighborhood. We will meet at the Herter Park Bluebikes station. Free Bluebikes coupons will be provided. The ride is expected to take around one hour and will end at Herter Park. We will stop and talk about different sections and techniques throughout the ride. We will work on dirt climbs, single track, and picking a line open trails. This ride will be open to 10 riders, who are prepared to: dress appropriately, wear a helmet, bring snacks for themselves, be challenged, and have fun!
