Agi: Rapì neonata a Cosenza, Rosa Vespa condannata a 5 anni
AGI - Il Tribunale di Cosenza ha condannato a cinque anni e quattro mesi Rosa Vespa, la donna accusata di aver rapito una neonata. La 52enne cosentina è stata arrestata un anno fa perché accusata di aver rapito una neonata di appena un giorno, nella clinica "Sacro Cuore" di Cosenza.
La perizia psichiatrica e le condizioni della donna
Secondo i consulenti medico-legali, Rosa Vespa al momento del rapimento non "presentava una struttura psicotica" ed era "lucida". La donna si trova adesso agli arresti domiciliari. Nel procedimento si erano costituiti parte civile i nonni materni e paterni della piccola rappresentati dagli avvocati Giorgio Loccisano e Natasha Gardi. Mentre i genitori della neonata sono rappresentati dagli avvocati Chiara Penna e Paolo Pisani.
La finta gravidanza e la valutazione dei periti
Anche i magistrati avevano chiesto una perizia psichiatrica su Rosa Vespa (difesa dall'avvocato Teresa Gallucci), che per nove mesi ha finto una gravidanza e poi un parto. Adesso la perizia stabilisce che la "finta gravidanza non ha rappresentato un delirio strutturato, ne' una simulazione, ma una soluzione di conversione-somatica a un vuoto narcisistico-depressivo".
Il ritrovamento della neonata e il ruolo del marito
Il 21 gennaio di un anno fa Rosa Vespa e Acqua Omogo Chiediebere Moses furono trovati in casa con la piccola Sofia vestita da maschietto, a Castrolibero nell'hinterland di Cosenza. Inizialmente fu arrestato anche il marito Moses, poi scarcerato dal gip.
La posizione di Moses e le indagini
Il 43enne nigeriano (difeso dall'avvocato Gianluca Garritano) si è sempre professato innocente dicendo che la moglie ha fatto tutto da sola. Infatti, la sua posizione è stata stralciata. Vespa ha finto una gravidanza e la nascita di un bimbo di nome Ansel, mai nato.
Le conclusioni dei periti e la reazione della famiglia
Per gli inquirenti anche Moses sarebbe stato ingannato dalla moglie. Nella perizia psichiatrica, i consulenti evidenziano che Vespa al momento del rapimento non presentava "condizioni psichiche tali da determinare un'infermità di mente". Ma, al tempo stesso, per i periti non va sottovalutato lo stato depressivo della donna che va monitorato. All'uscita dal Tribunale, la mamma della piccola ha solo detto che ora "è il momento di dimenticare".

The 43-year-old Nigerian (represented by lawyer Gianluca Garritano) has always maintained his innocence, saying that his wife did it alone. Therefore, his position was excluded. Vespa faked a pregnancy and the birth of a child named Ansel, who was never born.
The conclusions of the experts and the family’s reaction
For the investigators, Moses was also deceived by his wife. In the psychiatric examination, the consultants highlight that Vespa at the time of the kidnapping did not “have mental conditions that would determine a mental illness.” But, at the same time, the experts do not underestimate the depressive state of the woman, which must be monitored. As she left the courthouse, the baby’s mother only said that “it’s time to forget.”
