Remember people: "Normal" is a setting on the dryer.
There is no such thing.
We are all "weird" to someone. No biggie.

@VeroniqueB99 @JonathanLarsen had a weird take on benign self-expression weird and rich guy weird and oppressive Christofascist weird. Either way, Democrats should reclaim freedom.
@VeroniqueB99 and people who don't mind being called weird but are now seeing it used on a daily basis to describe actual #fascists because some fucking politician decided to reweaponize a word that had been reclaimed by the people it was originally used to hurt...now have to use a #filter to get that shitshow off their timelines
Or is that just me?
There's also the third category: being called weird as a signal that soon there's going to be a punishment for not following expectations.
Really implores you to choose being unhappy (masking constantly), or being ok with being NEETed.
(Examples, being LGQBT+, on spectrum, having an obvious physical difference, opinion etc.)
(I assume the discussion might be related to US politics, but as it isn't tagged, I feel comfortable in writing a general reply.)
I'm so weird that I began recording observations of humanity when I was 14 fellow citizen Vee, and remembered many before then.
This month I'll be 65, and my book is 385 pages along.
And after all these decades I've discovered one simple truth.
Humanity is good.
ST
"I understand. For I have been disappointed also. Humanity, overall, almost always disappoints me. However humans, individually, almost always fill me with hope. This has led me to the conviction that humanity is good; it is our organization and ideologies that have proven pitifully and woefully ineffective and inadequate."

"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro" -- Hunter S Thompson
@VeroniqueB99 perfect
*chef's kiss*
@VeroniqueB99 YES. Someone in a comments thread basically said "YEAH, Well, YOU'RE weird!!" and they couldn't deal with me saying "Yup, and proud of it".
Remember, they can't conceive of two things at once; I could support Israel AND condemn the civilian deaths in Gaza, I can disagree with Kamala on some things AND still vote for here, and people can be Indian AND Black.
I've been weird all my life. I'm 71 now, and I'll be weird till I die.
And I'm proud of it.
