Viss@nullagent they got dick costolo to be a consultant for them after he stopped being the twitter ceo, and this was only a couple years after i stopped working there - and that whole season was SERIOUSLY uncanny-valley-vibes for congruency towards how weird and jagged silicon valley was at the time

I once was hired to do a gig like this. It wasnโt quite as cringe (no rapping or dancingโit was a spoof of a Head and the Heart song) and I was just the piano player. It paid $400 and I was able to buy a nice-ish chair from Target for my living area. Not very comfortable, but the cat naps on it.
Factoring in all the rehearsal time, it worked out to about minimum wage in my area per hour. Honestly better than most gigs, at least.
Not something to put on the resume tho.
