@jsnell your post on having to turn the Studio Display clockwise saved my sanity! Just wanted to say thank you!

Update on the display situation!
- Bought Studio Display 2 VESA
- Bought new monitor arm
- Attempting to find a Pro Display XDR Pro Stand

If I can get the stand I am going to fabricate a mechanism to add a VESA mount to that stand. 3D printing to start with then find someone to fab alu in Aus

Truly love that I find out the new Studio Display XDR doesn’t support portrait mode after I have the display sitting on my dining room table… truly excellent work Apple… 🤦🏻‍♂️
Trialing out having two displays. After being a single display enjoyer for a long time. Feeling a dedicated documentation display is going to be very useful. This second 32” would be changed to a 27” if I continue down this route. Just not sure if I like the aesthetic yet!
@BenRiceM is there a way to block whole servers from Mastodon on Indigo? My network applicable is having a fit every time I use the app as it’s trying to load posts from a server hosted in Russia haha
Given the recent delights with dependency chain attacks are people starting to vendor in their #swift dependencies
Googling stuff, then and now

Cupertino v1.2.0 hits 92% rank-1 on canonical Apple API lookups, up from 52% in v1.1.0. Observable, AsyncSequence, EnvironmentObject, ForEach, DateFormatter and 11 others climbed to rank 1.

No vectors, no reranker. SQLite FTS5 with BM25F field weighting, AST extraction at index time. McNemar p ≤ 1e-5. Zero regressions across 110 paired queries.

cupertino v1.2.0: lands the right Apple doc 9 times in 10 - Aleahim

Search-quality release. AI coding assistants now land the right Apple documentation page on the first try 9 times out of 10, up from 5 out of 10 in v1.1.0. Cross-validated on three independent corpora, zero regressions. The architecture, and what it still gets wrong, in writing.

I know that this fancy XS Lang is more than likely just a slop-lang. However, it’s really enthralled me. I desperately want to try it but the feature of installing a slop-lang with lord knows what perms to my system stops me currently
