Can you tell us what your moderation policy towards Kremlin-sympathetic posting will be?
i.e. how will you deal with accounts on your instance who are 'opposed to Putin's invasion' but point out 'problems with Ukrainian Nazis', 'NATO aggression', 'western proxy war' etc?
A lot of people in the #fediverse who are opposed to #fascism and #genocide would like to know the answer to this

This is ironic. It's like MySpace getting a Facebook account.
@medium You're a publication service. Rather than dragging more people into Mastodon, thus recentralizing the decentralized web, how about getting your ass in gear and adding federation to your own service?
That's like Medium starting a WordPress blog to talk about Medium. You're madder than a toddler hopped on diarrhea if you think that's how decentralization works.
@medium Tip: don't use Medium. It's another commercial walled garden, bait and switch by the people who gave us Twitter and look how that's going.
Venture capital = poison. Don't donate your value to a toxic system.
Find a federated open source alternative instead. They exist, make them bigger and help kill Medium off before Elon Musk and the Saudis buy it

@medium my understanding of Medium is that they are only interested in virality and profit. They canceled me from the Medium Partner program for not having enough followers, and advised me to get more or be dropped.
I laughed outright at their audacity, but I'm angry that they do this shit to people and take advantage of people who don't love themselves and care more about chasing online fame than I do. The bait and switch was scummy, and they're a shitty company.

@medium If you could stop being 'Shadowbannium' and 'Censorium' every time nuts who belong to abusive theist cults like Christianity (who have delusional paranoia about demons) whine about something that demonstrates what they are- that would be great. If you shadowban an article, you owe the writer/author a notification and a justification. Otherwise it's offensive bias and rudeness.
