It’s been nearly a year since I last rode #Amtrak #Vermonter, but it appears that they may have upgraded their onboard #WiFi system, because my #travel router connected to it immediately, without me needing to clone the MAC address of my iPad to the router, which I believe I ad to do in the past. The captive portal page opened right away, and all I had to do was click “accept”.

My 25000 mAh powerbank has proven able to run my travel router and Raspberry Pi 4B for much longer than I expected.

On the other hand, if Vermont joined Canada, maybe we'd finally get rail service working to Montreal, again. It's been out of service for decades, and my understanding is that the problem is Canada refusing to budget the money to fix the rails on their side of the border.
