Just returned my brand new #Google #WiFi Pro.
So many issues with dropped connections on Android and MacOS. Turns out they are known issues. Going back to my ancient Google WiFi mesh which actually works.

So it seems that one of my wifi access points on my home network has died.

Can't say it owes me much, it's about 9 years old.

What's a good brand for wifi access points these days? My old one was TP Link, which gave me 9 years of trouble-free wifi, so I would be fine with getting another one, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Kennt sich hier jemand mit #Netzwerken aus und könnte mir helfen?

Ich habe einen Router und 4 Repeater in einem Mesh um überall Netz zu haben.
Alles AVM Fritz.
Außerdem hab ich am Router ein pihole.

Das Problem:
Wenn sich mein Handy in das 5ghz Netz verbindet findet es irgendwie die ganzen internen Geräte nicht.
Beispiel jellyfin. Ping liefert nur Destination Host Unreachable
Internetseiten gehen auf, fritz.box ist erreichbar
Im 2,4 Netz ist alles gut.
