Apple's take on lossless audio hints at a downward spiral. While it is true that many people don't have hearing, systems or headphones good enough to hear the difference, it does have a lot of importance to those who mix and master, or want to learn those skills accurately.

It is a lot like saying, ah, most people don't know how to punctuate sentences these days, so we intend to stop punctuation ... and then communication gets confused and muddier.

It is about something being the best it can be. I'm really not a fan of the USA trumpeting being 'great again' while eroding standards to the lowest it can get away with. Do better.

The 'traditional wife' lifestyle is pitched to US women as a return to comforting nostalgia ... but really it is a misogynistic religion-fueled trap.

Psychological researchers were startled to find the common factor in men fixating on the 'lifestyle' is not retro chivalry but instead “hostile sexism”. The men held overtly warped negative beliefs about women and likely become punitive and controlling because they know they are highly dependent on women for intimacy ...

This matters. Beyond identifying that it is a trap for women, it highlights a link between women suffering and religio-cultural weaponisation, stigmatisation, and limitation of ways in which males can sexually experience and express.

Living in a society which does not weaponise sexual orientation/experience would reduce the resented 'dependence' on women.

More fool the woman who spins or spreads homophobia. She is laying the foundations of her own trap, whilst presuming it is a separate issue.

A fact to recall when confronted by the constant hate-drivel coming from the USA about #LGBT people:

Nature doesn't create 'straight' lines.
Nature expresses and ensures survival with variation, curves, bends, texture, depth etc.
Straightness is NO part of that.

The artist #Hundertwasser knew this and omitted straight lines - just look up his architectural designs or paintings. He was convinced 'straight' was such an unnatural extreme that it stressed the human nervous system.

Something which can now probably be applied to anyone straight, playing the bigotry cards to claim faux superiority.

I'd sent an email to US State Department, under Matthew Miller's office. Expressing my concerns with the PR lies about Gaza & Lebanon & Iran. I expressed that US is doing irreparable damage to itself by it's ongoing support of ethnic cleansing & it will harm their international relations with multiple countries & creating increased hatred for US.
