EVERY week, the political discourse is plunging further depths of racism. To paraphrase Pastor Martin Niemoller, first they came for the illegal migrants, then for legal migrants and then for the British-born who do not have white skin.This degraded debate is deteriorating rapidly. Politicians on the right are leap-frogging each other in the drive to demonise anyone who does not correspond to their imagined white British ideal.
