Hey #liberal #leftist #progressives, can we please cut back on using triggering words? Especially if something is still being investigated. I thought we were better than the conservatives in that we use thesauri instead of using buzz terms all the time. Cut back on the surety of terms like #genocide #apertheid #racewar #colonialism #ethniccleansing and others. Use descriptions, maybe even euphemisms. We're about more than checking the scary boxes. #triggerwords

If you haven't already created a filter for posts that contain the #USpol and/or #trump hashtags (and/or your personal triggers) then you are missing out on a little peace and quiet. Set your filters to put those posts behind a #ContentWarning so YOU get to decide if you have the spoons, the curiosity, or the willpower to see them at the time. It's an easy way to show yourself some love!

@zudlig I have a feeling that the next step is indeed fascism, whether it be leftist or rightist fascism, I'm not sure. But look down the road of time, I have a hard time seeing anything else.

Perhaps a fascism supported by #techocracy and big tech and all that. In the end, the modern left and modern right seem to be loving the control that State Capitalism and the power of Big Tech brings to their tool bag.
