Wasn't following the hardware sector of #thumbdrives lately. Now, I'm very impressed of owning 1TB USB drive with 1GB per second read and write speed including USB-A and USB-C in one device. 🤓
That's unbelievable 694 3.5" floppy disks EACH SECOND! 🤯
My first copy process transferred 26GB within one minute and 6 seconds. That's 403MB/s or 280 3.5" #floppydisks each second. I didn't even own that many floppies which I can now move from A to B within one single second. 😉

#TIL there is a specific #SD #MemoryCard Formatter for #Windows & #Mac that "does" a “TRIM” operation which cleans up remnants of deleted or previously existing files. While designed for SD-cards, it works with #USB #Thumbdrives as well.
