First of all, it's going to make Anthropic richer, because both sides will use it more.
But hear me out: If their detection ability really was so good - why did the #ClaudeCodeLeak immediately result in several high-profile vulnerabilities found? E.g.

The #AI hype has been over for a while. Stocks no longer rising, valutations falling, data centers not being built, companies having trouble attracting investment.

Whoever starts the next hype gets lots of money. Now is the time to make sure it's something mankind actually needs. Defenses against the #ClimateCatastrophe, #Renewables, #EnergyStorage, #Fusion, Chemistry without fossils, #Biotech, Advanced Medicine, Hardened crops, etc.

Not #Blockchain, AI, #Crypto or some of that crap again.

Oh what a week in office land: not only #OnlyOffice vs. #EuroOffice (don't get me started on this one).

But also #collabora, main contributor to #LibreOffice, is kicked out of #TheDocumentFoundation, which leads them focusing on #CollaboraOffice. Not an April fool's joke although it sounds exactly like (a bad) one.

See Michael Meeks' post on this: https://www.collaboraonline.com/blog/tdf-ejects-its-core-developers/

Not exactly optimal, where we have a great window of opportunity to push further for #Digitalsovereignity

I've never had a #Discord account. 30% because I really don't want to, and 70% because the two times I actually tried, the accounts got permanently blocked because of an alleged "Violation of TOS/Community Guidelines" before I was even able to click on the e-mail address verification link.

Age verification in social media is just the beginning. We have to fight against identification with teeth and claws.

Colorado Lawmakers Push for Age Verification at the Operating System Level

Rather than having people verify their age on every app they use, Colorado's SB26-051 would implement a way for devices to share an 'age-bracket' signal to third-party apps.
