The gin tasting continues, but with a change of personnel. MrsVark is out, Glenn the mannequin is busy, so I'm joined by my new, impeccably professional assistant, Glenda.
We tackled Spit-Roasted Pineapple Gin and Roku Gin. One was a pleasant surprise, the other was... competent. Glenda approved of both, but then, she approves of everything. It's one of her best qualities.

Beer Frontiers
I consider myself a relatively well informed beer drinker - that is enthusiastic and always prepared to taste something new. This article on Carlsberg’s labs and one particular beer intrigued (although ignore the headline, it is about much more than that) interested me. Not that in normal circumstances I would go anywhere near Carlsberg (the ‘beer’ that is).
