Tiling web pages for a side by side view is a quintessential feature on the desktop version of Vivaldi. But it’s not limited to desktop. Though a little different, you can achieve the same thing also on your Android tablet. Here’s how!

To open a link in a new tiled window:

  • Long-press on a link on a web page and start dragging it.
  • Drag the link to the left or right edge of the screen.
  • When you see a gray box with the text “Drop here to open”, lift you finger.

    While you can always go rummaging in the Settings to change the Tab Bar‘s location, there’s also a quick way to do it directly from the Tab Bar.

    To move the Tab Bar:

  • Right-click on the + “New Tab” button on the Tab Bar.
  • Hover over the “Tab Bar Position” option in the menu.
  • Select the Tab Bar’s new location – top, right, bottom, or left side of the browser window.

    Desde el pasado 7 abril #chrome ya deja tener tabs verticales

    Sé que no es novedad teniendo Vivaldi y Edge ventaja de este feature pero si usan como main browser Chrome, la vdd sí aliviana tener este layout para lo que usan muchas tabs como su servidor.

    Si no les aparece la opción al hacer click derecho, tendrás que activar primero en Flags el feature chrome://flags/#vertical-tabs > Enabled
