Skip Tab Stack naming prompts by disabling them in Settings.

Giving your Tab Stacks names and adding a pop of color helps to keep things organized and allows you to locate the stacks faster. But not all stacks are created equal. Some live on your Tab Bar permanently and deserve a name, while others pop by for a brief visit. By default, every time you create a new Tab Stack, an editor will open, prompting you to give the stack a name and a color. If you don’t want to name every single stack you create, you can disable the prompt.

To disable the stack editor:

When disabled, you can always edit a stack by:

• Right-clicking on the stack on the Tab Bar and selecting “Edit Stack…”.
• Typing “Edit Stack” in Quick Commands.
• Creating a Keyboard Shortcut or a Mouse Gesture for the action.

I was really dreading moving the 200+ tabs I have open in 3 different windows from my old laptop (Miss Sakamoto) to the new one (Caroline4Five2). Mozilla Sync would allow me to get a list of them all, and open them... *one at a time*.

Solution: use Bookmarks > Bookmark All Tabs and create 3 temporary "folders" in my bookmarks, for each window. Sync from Miss S.

Then sync on Caroline, open a new window, and "Open All in Tabs". Presto!

#Tusky-Tricks

.. ein oder mehrere Hashtags als Tab anzeigen.

Tusky - gilt auch für Verwandte wie etwa #Pachli - erlauben es, einen Tab zu konfigurieren, der über einen #Hashtag definiert ist.

Dies funktioniert auch für mehrere #Hashtags.

Im linksseitigen Menü hierzu "Profileinstellungen" auswählen, dann anschließend "Tabs". Nun sieht man die aktuell aktiven #Tabs (in früheren Versionen von Tusky maximal fünf möglich).

Unten rechts befindet sich ein "Plus"-Symbol. Wählt man dieses, kann man anschließend einen neuen Tab hinzufügen.

Hier den Typ "Hashtags" auswählen und einen (ggf. den ersten) gewünschten Hashtag (ohne das Hashtag-Symbol) eingeben. Dann "Speichern". Anschließend kann der Tab (bei Bedarf) über "Hashtag hinzufügen" (direkt in der Tab-Anzeige in der Liste) mit weiteren gewünschten Hashtags versehen werden.

In der "Tabs"-Ansicht selbst kann die Reihenfolge der Tabs durch Ziehen der Einträge via des "Sechspunkt"-Symbols angepaßt werden. Mit dem "X"-Symbol kann ein Tab wieder entfernt werden.
