#UltimateGuitar ist ein schönes Beispiel, wie das Internet kaputt geht. Angefangen hat es als kostenfreie Website, wo man Tabs hochladen und nutzen konnte. Dann musste man für den Zugang bezahlen und mittlerweile kommt bei jedem Aufruf der App ein Angebot für irgendwelche Kurse und Gadgets, nach denen ich niemals gefragt habe.

Gibt es eine umfassende, nicht kommerzielle Sammlung an #Tabs? Ich brauche nicht zwingend eine App...

Gesucht: Eine Erweiterung für Firefox, mit der ich mehrere Fenster mit jeweils mehreren Tabs einer Art „Projekt" oder Fenstergruppe zuordnen und die Fenster eines solchen Projekts mit all ihren Tabs jeweils auf einen Schlag schließen und später mit den gleichen Inhalten wieder öffnen kann. Änderungen an den Tabs/Fenstern bestehender Gruppen sollen beim Schließen übernommen werden.

Aktuell verwende ich Simple Tab Groups, da kann ich aber jeder Gruppe nur genau ein Fenster zuordnen. Und wenn ich für 20 Projekte mit im Schnitt 2-5 Fenstern für jedes Fenster eine eigene Gruppe anlegen muss, wird das schnell unübersichtlich …

Skip Tab Stack naming prompts by disabling them in Settings.

Giving your Tab Stacks names and adding a pop of color helps to keep things organized and allows you to locate the stacks faster. But not all stacks are created equal. Some live on your Tab Bar permanently and deserve a name, while others pop by for a brief visit. By default, every time you create a new Tab Stack, an editor will open, prompting you to give the stack a name and a color. If you don’t want to name every single stack you create, you can disable the prompt.

To disable the stack editor:

When disabled, you can always edit a stack by:

• Right-clicking on the stack on the Tab Bar and selecting “Edit Stack…”.
• Typing “Edit Stack” in Quick Commands.
• Creating a Keyboard Shortcut or a Mouse Gesture for the action.

Use drag and drop to reorder Tiled Tabs.

Viewing multiple tabs side by side in the same Vivaldi browser window can significantly boost your productivity. By default, tiles follow the order of the tabs on your Tab Bar, but if that doesn’t work well, you can easily rearrange them.

I was really dreading moving the 200+ tabs I have open in 3 different windows from my old laptop (Miss Sakamoto) to the new one (Caroline4Five2). Mozilla Sync would allow me to get a list of them all, and open them... *one at a time*.

Solution: use Bookmarks > Bookmark All Tabs and create 3 temporary "folders" in my bookmarks, for each window. Sync from Miss S.

Then sync on Caroline, open a new window, and "Open All in Tabs". Presto!
