Vivaldi Workspaces are useful, but for the “most customizable browser” the inability to treat the “default” workspace like any other is baffling.
- It can’t be renamed or removed
- It isn’t treated as a normal workspace by other commands i.e. you can’t Move a tab there, it simply isn’t listed
- It shows the name of the current tab in the Workspace list instead of the name of the workspace
However, it’s considered a workspace for workspace change commands, i.e. scrolling through workspaces will always include it, and it is always workspace 1 for keyboard switching.
There have been many requests to change this behavior since Workspaces were introduced a few years ago and it still hasn’t been changed. I can do without Hue bulb integration and the side-scrolling shooter in favor of making some of these QoL changes.
