Does anyone know how sensitive the kind of metadata LVM exposes are?

Like is it "save" to do #LUKS ontop of a multi-disk #LVM?

So far I always did LUKS with LVM on-top aka. each disk individually encrypted. Even though this provides good security and avoids any potential metadata from being exposed (at rest, obviously doesn't hide access pattern while running) it doesn't scale that well.

So would doing:

dozens of disks < LVM with RAID-5/6 < LUKS < BTRFS be considered safe?
