Ponder the following: 🤔

1. Is there anyone in your life who brings out the absolute best in you? Can you find ways to spend more time with them?

2. If you keep doing what you're doing now (routines, etc), will your life be better or worse in five years?

Just a couple of things to think about. Life is always changing; sometimes, we forget to consider where we are now and the need to change course to get to where we want to be.

Imagine you're sitting or lying in the cool grass, looking up at a canopy of trees that are swaying back and forth in the Summer breeze. The blue sky peeks through the trees and leaves, which make a whooshing sound as the breeze blows through them. The Sun is warm, and the grass you lie on is soft and cool. The air is warm. You take slow, deep breaths of fresh Summer air and listen to the sound of the wind through the trees.

Stay in that moment for a few minutes.

Take a few deep breaths. Extend the exhale with each breath and focus on relaxing your jaw, shoulders, hands, abdomen, back, legs, and feet. Work your way down from your head to your toes.

Turn your hands, palms facing up. Use your palms as the focal point of a short meditation. Redirect your attention to the palms if you become distracted. What sensations do you feel? Does your attention bring warmth? Tingling? This is an example of the mind's influence on the body.😊

Engage the senses with your favorite treat. I'll use chocolate as an example🍫

• Open the packet. Inhale the aroma
• Break off a piece and look at it, examine it
•Pop it in your mouth, hold it on your tongue, and let it melt. Chocolate has over 300 flavors. Try to sense some of them. Feel the texture
• If your mind wanders, return to the present moment. Focus on the chocolate
• After the chocolate has melted, swallow it slowly

Stay present 😉
