#Android Gets Fake Call Detection That Uses #RCS

#Phone by #Google wants to combat the "growing threat of #impersonation #scams " and protect Android users against "sophisticated, AI-powered #deepfake attacks" with fake call detection. [...] Fake call detection requires that both parties are on Android and use the Phone by Google app, while #GoogleMessages and #GoogleContacts also have to be installed. When a contact calls, their phone "sends a silent confirmation signal in real time to your device to verify the call is legitimate and truly coming from the contact's device." This digital handshake uses end-to-end #encrypted RCS (Rich Communication Services).

【Help Ahmad Get Treatment and Surgery to Repair Serious Complication!】

While Saja's husband Ahmad was recovering from his recent surgery, he experienced a serious complication.

Saja contacted me to tell me that Ahmad was taken to the hospital because of a urinary catheter that caused a wound to his bladder. He didn't notice because he has no feeling in his lower body. He lost a lot of blood and some people donated blood so he could regain consciousness. Now he needs bladder surgery. I have asked Saja for more details about the surgery and will add any I get. Please donate and share to help him out!

Also Ahmad contacted me on Nov 8, 2025 to ask for help for food and other necessities for his children and to cover the treatment he needs. He has told me that his treatment expenses for his bladder are about $350 per week. He also said he will need surgery for his bladder.

Weird situation with our (and a neighbour's) landline. Yes, landline (weird eh!).

When trying to call in a prescription to pharmacy (via landline) message comes on saying that number does not exist. The number absolutely does exist, it's a pharmacy!

When calling the number via cell, no problem at all connecting. Our neighbour with a landline also had that "does not exist" message but can connect via cell. A friend in a different neighbourhood had no problem connecting via landline.

Do you think it's a neighbourhood carrier issue or the pharmacy's line? I'm thinking the former (and will try to connect with our provider). I told you it was weird! lol
