We finally watched the Spinal Tap sequel tonight. It goes without saying it's not a patch on the original. But despite that, it was a lot better than I expected. We laughed and chuckled throughout.

I must have watched the original a dozen times (more?) And while that won't happen with the sequel, I *am* very glad I saw it.

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues

Directed by Rob Reiner; starring and written by Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Rob Reiner and Harry Shearer (1h23m)

After a falling out, aging rockers get the band back together for one last concert.

The film was never going to be as groundbreaking or even funny as the original.
But the spirit is still there, quite a few good jokes land and a couple of astonishing cameos steal the show.

Rating: B-

Somehow, @gilahava704 and I were only joined by one other audience member in the entire theater for a showing of #SpinalTap2 last night. Nevertheless, it didn't disappoint in the slightest. Highly recommended if you liked the first film!
