This is a tough day for many. I see you. I have cried and wished my dad well while providing myself with compassion.

Date set today for Dad's funeral. Now we have to choose photos/videos for the order of service and the ceremony, plus music.

My brain, being a complete dick, just thought "I should phone Dad, he'll have some ideas" followed by a screeching crashing realisation that no, I can't do that.

This stuff is really hard.

Today was Registration Office day, so my dad is now very officially dead and I've got certificates to prove it.

Worst qualification ever.

I miss Dad very much 😢 ❤️ He's been gone for over 2 years now.
I remember this day well. It was an excellent family bonding day. We had a nice dinner after a short walk together. 3 months after this photo was taken, Dad had to go to ER for a leg muscles issue. He was infected with covid by unmasked hospital staff. It happened shortly after our eugenics government removed public masking mandates. Dad ended up dying from covid related cardiac arrest, the following Summer.

I have never forgiven the #BCgovernment or #unmasked #hospital staff for killing my Dad. We had him fully protected with home #caregiving for years. It took less than 2 days in hospital for him to get #covid.

Please #WearAMask. Please don't let my Dad & others who died from getting covid from unmasked people, to be forgotten. It could be you or your family members, next. Covid doesn't care if you believe in it or not - it will end up wrecking your life, one way or another.

I could do a few things in honor of my late father's life today.

Since I don't have a lawn to mow while wearing jeans and a sweatshirt in today's blistering heat, I guess it'll have to be eating a slice of untoasted bread with creamy peanut butter spread on top no matter what the main course is!

This is my third Father’s Day without you. As you used to say to me:

I have always loved you and I always will

This is a tough day for me. I have cried a lot today as well as this whole weekend since I visited the site where my dad’s ashes were scattered while visiting with family in Kelowna. He passed away on November 21, 2020 but this was my first time in Kelowna since then. I last saw him in 2019.
