Every once in a while is a #restday. Training was rough this week. Not enough “on foot” time but a weight PR and some soul-crushing workouts. So taking a day to rest.
After a long Saturday of strict correction and intense boot worship, it’s finally time to unwind. Embracing a slow, quiet Sunday to recharge before the next session. Rest well.

If it's a #RestDay, why am I ripping up decking? My poor back!

Sunday is a good day to slow down, find pleasure, eat well, and recharge your passions.

Today is that day.

How do you recharge?

If you don’t know how to recharge, then take a nice walk, open your mind to new ideas, and you may discover an epiphany.

For lifters, 3,000 to 5,000 steps makes sense when legs are trashed, sleep was bad, or soreness is high. Keep the pace easy. Think recovery, not cardio. #RestDay 6,000 to 9,000 steps is the best default for most rest days. It keeps blood flow up and daily activity consistent without turning the day into extra training. #NEAT

The deepest stillness I've felt didn't come from a meditation cushion.

It came after running, lying by the river. Rest earned through effort feels different.

What helps you find stillness after movement?

Rest days arent do nothing days they are recovery days. Your step count matters because NEAT non exercise activity like walking errands stairs can either support recovery or quietly add fatigue. #RestDay #Recovery
